Doctor Biography

Dr. Halima Alam Mousumi is an experienced ophthalmologist and academician with over 13 years of clinical and teaching experience. She currently serves as Assistant Professor at Marine City Medical College, Chattogram, where she is actively involved in medical education, patient care, and professional development. She completed her MBBS from Faridpur Medical College in 2012 and earned her Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO) from Lions Eye Institute & Hospital, Dhaka, in 2021. Throughout her career, she has worked in several leading healthcare institutions, including Cumilla Medical College, Lions Eye Institute & Hospital, Chevron Eye Institute, and Marine City Medical College. Dr. Mousumi has received specialized training in cataract surgery and has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of eye diseases. She regularly participates in professional workshops and academic programs and is an active member of the Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh (OSB).
