Doctor Biography

Dr. Prakash Kumar Chowdhury MS, MCPS, DO, MBBS in one of the founder member of Bangladesh Eye Hospital, Chittagong. He passed his MBBS from CMC in 1991, and is currently pursuing his services in phaco surgery for which he received his subspecialty training in cataract surgery under Dr. Abhay R vasavada at Iladevi cataract and Intraocular Research Centre. Ahmedabad, India in 2004.

He used to hold the post of department head is ophthalmology in USTC. He is an excellent teacher who had been teaching over 12 years.

He is also the recipient of “Feroza Jallil Memorial Award”. From ophthalmology society of Bangladesh and “Prof M.A National memorial ACOIN BAPOS indo Bangladesh friendship Award 2014”, from Association of community ophthalmology of India.
