Doctor Biography

Dr. Fazley Rabby is regarded as one of the finest cataract surgeons of his generation, bringing rare precision and artistry to phacoemulsification. Alongside his expertise in phaco surgery, he has a strong interest in vitreoretinal surgery. He currently serves as a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Vitreoretinal Fellow at the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital (NIO), Dhaka.

He holds the Fellowship (FCPS) and Membership (MCPS) in Ophthalmology from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons, both awarded in 2019, and received certification from the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO), England, in 2020. He graduated MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital in 2011.

His clinical experience spans Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital, Mymensingh Medical College Hospital and the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital, Dhaka, and he has performed more than 10,000 eye surgeries over the course of his career.
